Box and Dice is Sydney's most established and professional model-making and prototyping service.
Our background in Industrial Design and fully equipped workshop allow us to take your project from data to tangible reality, without the need for you to micro-manage each aspect of production. Our greatest strength is the ability provide a one-stop service, flexible enough to be able to complete all of your complex job, right through to assembly, in the one place, rather than managing several different suppliers.
Each project is assigned a dedicated project manager who oversees production, keeps a close eye on quality and ensures that you are informed about progress.
Our aim is to provide a service you can rely on and a level of quality reflective of our twenty years at the top of the prototyping profession.
What We Do
At Box and Dice we have a fully equipped workshop which is able to cover the large variety of processes and finishes that we need to have at our fingertips in order to efficiently produce the broad category of projects that fall under modelmaking and prototyping.
Our services are suited to anybody involved in product design, development and manufacture. Our main client base comes out of Industrial Design consultancies, medical research and development enterprises, product-based companies with internal design departments, marketing and promotions companies and people developing product-based ideas privately. While we do not advertise ourselves as designers, we are often involved in the final design decisions and detailing of projects as they arise.
Our primary in house services include 3 axis CNC machining, CNC routing, CNC lathe work, manual milling and lathe work, silicon moulding, hand finishing, spray painting, vacuum-forming, welding and all types of general fabrication through to assembly.
