RWL Hardchrome and Engineering Pty Ltd, was established 50 years ago. Originally delivering chrome plating services to the local area, over the years the company has provided an ever expanding range of products and services for its customers from all over Australia.
The original chrome plating facilities have expanded through decorative plating to the industrial hard-chroming plant established on site. Chrome Engineering provide quality service to the earthmoving, mining and general engineering industries by way of offering a repair and re-manufacturing facility for many components requiring precision surface engineering.
We are pleased to announce the establishment of a new facility located at Moonaboola Industrial Estate, Maryborough. This facility allows 24 hours a day, 7 days a week capability. This new facility is able to offer rapid turnaround times in a state-of-the-art facility as required by customers supporting the Surface & Underground Mining Industries, plus other critical component repairs.
What We Do
Services currently available at Moonaboola include, Hardchrome Plating, Precision Grinding, Bronze Plating, Aircraft approved Brush Plating Process, CNC & manual Turning, large machining, Honing and complete cylinder strip down, repair and test facilities.
This new facility has the support of the existing factory at North Street, enabling complete flexibility for various components requiring reclamation.
Your enquiries for medium to heavy turning, boring, honing and grinding work in addition to our usual reclamation processes such as thermal metal spraying will be welcomed.
