Who We Are
Command Engineering is a precision engineering company that has been in the same business since 1969. During this 30 years we have grown to a company employing 30 people and several of them have been here in excess of 18 years.
Our first numerical controlled lathe was installed in 1978, and since that first purchase of an CNC lathe we have continued to update and replace equipment with the latest advances in machinery. We now have 18 CNC machines in operation and are continuously considering our next purchases.
An overview of our current plant and equipment is;
6 conventional CNC lathes.
10 swiss turn sliding head CNC lathes up to 32mm Diameter
1 horizontal CNC machining center.
1 vertical CNC machining centre with 4th axis
10 centreless grinders-through, plunge, form & bar grinding.
Production milling machines, drills & presses.
What We Do
The type of work is varied but generally we specialize in precision components. The materials we use are also varied which include stainless steel all grades, free cutting steel, high tensile alloys, plastics, titanium, aluminum and brass.
We have a strong reputation for quality in producing precision components for medical implants, telecommunications, electrical goods, white goods, automotive, hydraulics and agricultural industries.
