Who We Are
Cutting Edge Engineering is based in Murray Bridge, South Australia.
Our company was founded in 1987 buy its present owner.
In 1995 we purchase our first CNC machine ( a Star SR-20) to produce components for a local electrical company, Neilson Electrical, now Schneider Electric NZ, who are still one of our customers.
Our manufacturing facilities are centered around state of the art sliding head technology.
We export our precision machined components to our customers throughout Australia and overseas.
What We Do
CEE is a modern hi-tech repetetion machine shop.
We produce complex and simple precision machined components for other manufactures, wholesalers and retailers.
We can produce parts in a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, aluminium and many plastics such as nylon and acetal.
Production runs from1 part up to 100,000 are a regular part of our daily work.
Our machines are all bar fed multi axis (up to 9) Swiss turn machines. This means that even the most complex parts are completed in one operation, significantly reducing cost over traditional manufacturing methods. Human intervention is kept to a minium so part to part consistancy is very high.
