Established in 1983, Mett Pty Ltd, has set, and continues to achieve, it's goal to maintain a state-of-the-art high pressure aluminium die-casting facility. The facility also provides for precision and high speed CNC machining, product assembly and testing. Supporting demanding customers in the automotive industry, as well as several other industries, the company offers continuously improving quality and service at world competitive pricing.
Bench marking itself globally amongst the best, the company has achieved accreditation to ISO 9001 and QS9000 and received numerous awards, including the prestigious
"GM Supplier of the Year" award on three occasions.
To support it's operation, Mett is associated with it's sister company Hilton Tooling, a company internationally renown for its technology and capabilities to design and manufacture precision tooling.
What We Do
Mett's experience in manufacturing intricate aluminium die-cast components to unsurpassed technical and quality standards is enhanced by it's capability to supply close tolerance machined, assembled and tested products.
The die-casting cells at Mett are of the most advanced technology available. Our diecasting machines from Switzerland range from 400 to 1400 metric tonnes clamping pressure with shot control, squeeze facility and closed loop process control. Integrated into these cells are sealed dosing furnaces, high precision 2-axis CNC spray units, 6-axis robots and fully automated, in-house designed and manufactured trim presses.
