Who We Are
Planex is a specialist manufacturer, producing all of our own furniture at our Melbourne head quarters.
Winner of the RAIA ‘Best Commercial Building: 2004’ our 7000m2 Melbourne production facility was purpose built and designed by Inarc Architects for Planex and is a benchmark for Australian manufacturing.
As well as operating one of the most advanced sheet steel manufacturing facilities in Australia, we also use World best practices including being ISO 14001 Environmental Management System to produce Australia’s highest quality steel storage.
One advantage of being a local manufacturer is the ability to provide customised products, or produce bespoke products. Our R&D team is equipped with state-of-the-art sheet metal prototyping and production equipment, to manufacture your design.
How does it work? Simply send us a drawing of your storage concept and our R&D team will assess your design then provide a cost.
