Who We Are
United Surface Technologies Pty Ltd (UST) is a privately owned and operated Australian leader in the field of surface engineering, servicing the Asia/Pacific rim. UST was formed by the merger of Halky's Hardfacing and Ceramcoat-Setech in 1992.
UST's core business is Surface Technologies.
United Surface Technolgies apply thermal sprayed coatings of metals, ceramics, carbides, super alloys, psuedo alloys, abradable coatings and plastics. Included are programmed plasma transferred arc (PTA) units applying weld overlay, and many other hard faced weld deposits.
To compliment our Surface Technologies Centre expertise, UST has a fully equipped Manufacturing Centre offering a variety of machining functions from precision CNC lathes, NC grinders, to conventional machining capabilities.
Skilled and dedicated technicians at UST ensure the required degree of excellence.
What We Do
UST's surface technologies centre includes new components or refurbishment of worn components. Only the world's finest certified materials are used in processes. Whether it is a special one-off or large quantity production requirement, UST can do it!
