Who Are Our Customers and System Users?
Users of ManufactureLink's service can be divided into 2 main groups:
Seekers (Buyers) are engineers, draftsman, designers, purchasing officers or anyone engaged in sourcing the manufacture of components and assemblies made to their individual drawings and specifications. This group could even comprise manufacturers looking to outsource for additional capacity and additional capabilities they may not have in-house. In addition to seeking manufacturing providers, seekers could also take the form of people looking for a specific industry service or a specific supplier of manufacturing technology. Seekers may also use the system simply to access the vast range of information on the system.
Providers (Suppliers) are Australian machine shops, jobbing shops, fabricators, plastics moulders and any manufacturing business which produces components and assemblies for customers to their exact specifications. ManufactureLink's manufacturing and engineering network boasts hundreds of manufacturers providing almost every manufacturing process imaginable.
Providers are also suppliers of Manufacturing Technology which can take many forms, from CNC Machine Tools through to manufacturing software.
