Heading Certification

In addition to our regular, dynamic ratings system, ManufactureLink brings you more ways to make confident, informed decisions when seeking new suppliers or customers.

ManufactureLink has a 3-level certification system for both suppliers and buyers so you can gauge their credentials in an instant. Certification levels achieved by both buyers and suppliers are shown alongside their name for quick reference. ManufactureLink certification is your guarantee you are dealing with reliable, well credentialed buyers and suppliers.

Bronze Certification

Bronze certification means a company or individual has been pre-qualified by ManufactureLink. Pre-qualification involves using the buyer or supplier’s ABN to retrieve information from the government's ASIC databases to prove the accuracy of company details and their operating status. Buyers or suppliers who are claiming to have accreditations and industry organisation memberships will be asked to supply copies of their certificates as proof. Where possible, ManufactureLink will also carry out reference and credit checks to ensure the credentials of our registered users.

For overseas buyers, where possible we use 3rd party credit report agencies and extensive reference checking before awarding bronze certification.

At our discretion, ManufactureLink may also award bronze certification to organisations or individuals who have not undergone the full audit procedure but have demonstrated an excellent history of completed RFQs with no negative feedback.

Our pre-qualification checks are comprehensive and are just another way you can be confident in who you are dealing with when you use ManufactureLink’s services.

Contact our staff today to find out how you can become bronze certified.

Silver Certification

To achieve silver certification, a buyer or supplier must first have achieved the requirements for bronze certification.

ManufactureLink awards silver certification to companies or individuals who have a track record of completed RFQs with little or no negative feedback over an extended period of time. Before awarding silver certification, ManufactureLink carries out a detailed audit of past RFQ activity and user feedback, and checks references to ensure the accuracy of their credentials. We do this to prevent companies and individuals generating false transaction histories as seen on some popular auction sites.

Silver certified buyers and suppliers receive an official certificate from ManufactureLink to recognise their track record of high quality standards.

Silver certification is your guarantee that you are dealing with ManufactureLink’s quality buyers and suppliers.

Gold Certification

To achieve gold certification, either a buyer or supplier must have achieved bronze certification and held silver certification status for an extended period of time. Buyers and suppliers who hold silver certification must have developed an extensive track record of successfully completed RFQs through ManufactureLink’s system with little or no negative feedback. ManufactureLink also conducts an audit of RFQ and feedback history along with more reference checks before awarding gold status.

Gold certified buyers and suppliers receive an official certificate from ManufactureLink in recognition of their track record of high quality standards and long, reliable service.

Gold certification is your guarantee you are dealing with the very best buyers and suppliers registered with ManufactureLink.

Downgrading of Certification

ManufactureLink is committed to providing our customers with the very best information possible to assist them to make confident, informed decisions. We are also committed to encouraging Australian suppliers to continually provide high quality services to their customers. For this reason, ManufactureLink constantly monitors RFQ activity and user feedback. Where ManufactureLink becomes aware of shoddy or unethical practices being undertaken by its registered users, we may at our discretion downgrade the certification of the offending company or individual. Users must maintain their quality standards to retain their certification level.

Suppliers whose subscription to ManufactureLink’s services has lapsed may also have their certification downgraded.
