AusBiotech Launches Online Medtech Training

AusBiotech has signed an exclusive agreement with the World Medical Device Organization (WMDO) to deliver world-class online medical technology training to Australia’s fastest growing biotechnology sector.  

AusBiotech and WMDO, the leading global provider of innovative online training for medical device professionals, this week announced an alliance to provide online medtech training in Australia.

The WMDO courses will be offered via AusBiotech’s professional development arm, BioPro Courses, which scouts the world for the best trainers and education packages for the Australian biotechnology sector.

See below to see the new courses, which are specific to medical technology and include risk management, Australian, US and European regulations, clinical trials and reimbursement.

This is the first online offering for BioPro Courses, and topics were selected in consultation with the AusMedtech National Advisory Group.

The alliance offers extra value for AusBiotech members with the world-class courses at special member rates, and allows registration in Australian currency with local support.   

BioPro Courses was established in March 2009 by AusBiotech due to the growth of Australia’s biotechnology sector, across fields of biotechnology, which continues to create demand for more industry specific skills development. BioPro Courses runs a series of one to three-day face-to-face courses.

Today’s launch of the online courses expands the offering from its established reputation for quality industry-specific professional development, to also provide flexible, convenience, cost effectiveness that online training courses can offer.
