Australian Companies to benefit through Formero’s Launch

Formero, previously known as ARRK Australia & NZ, has announced the launch of its new business name.

The name change reflects a decision by management to assume ownership of the Australian operation from their Japanese parent company.  Formero will continue to distribute ARRK’s tooling and manufacturing services exclusively into the Australian and New Zealand markets, as well as offer additional manufacturing services to its customers.

“We are very excited about the launch of Formero.  As an independent company we have forged ahead with the set-up of our own office in Shenzhen to manage overseas CNC prototyping, tooling and production projects.  Our customers greatly benefit dealing with an Australian company that has staff based locally and in China.  We have a strong reputation for delivering quality prototyping and manufacturing services, and we take responsibility for what we promise”, says Simon Marriott, Managing Director of Formero.

Since Marriott launched the company in the early 90’s as Silhouette Designs, the company has grown to become Australia’s largest prototyping and manufacturing services provider.  Over the last 6 months the company has increased its work force by 15% to meet the market demand for its services. With in-house rapid prototyping and tooling technologies, along with an experienced engineering project management team, the company goal is continuing to introduce innovative manufacturing solutions to product development challenges.
