ManufactureLink Expands The Advanced Manufacturing Network Into New Zealand

ManufactureLink announced today that they have expanded the advanced manufacturing and engineering network to include suppliers from New Zealand.

ManufactureLink's intelligent, online sourcing system now accepts registrations of New Zealand manufacturers and handles New Zealand GST rates in their quoting modules.

ManufactureLink's advanced search tools have also been updated to include the New Zealand manufacturers.

"We are looking forward to having the New Zealand manufacturers on-board." said ManufactureLink's Managing Director, George Pofandt. "Having such a small domestic market, most New Zealand manufacturers tend to be very export focussed. As such, they keep their operations lean, globally competitive and deploy world's best practice in manufacturing. The move means New Zealand custom manufacturers and design engineers can join the ManufactureLink network as full, supplier members and gain access to manufacturing opportunities from Australia, New Zealand and around the world. Registering with the ManufactureLink network also gives New Zealand manufacturing capability global exposure to casual buyers from key markets who use the online systems to locate niche capability.
