Minister Opens $32M Victorian Manufacturing Centre

Victorian manufacturers received a boost with the recent opening of the $32 million Dandenong Enterprise Connect Manufacturing Centre.

Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research, Senator Kim Carr, opened the manufacturing centre which is part of the Australian Government's $251 million national Enterprise Connect network.

The $32 million Victorian Manufacturing Centre, designed to give SMEs access to top-quality advisory services and support, is part of a national network aimed at boosting the productivity of local businesses and improving their ability to compete on a global scale.

Speakers at the Dandenong Manufacturing Centre launch included Senator Kim Carr, Enterprise Connect client Richard Keown from MTM and Executive Director, Industry Capability Network of Victoria, Peter Yates.
