To ensure the quality of a manufactured electronics assembly, a test system is typically used to carry out final tests of the circuitry. These test system are designed and produced by specialist electronics engineers. As well as testing electronic components and circuits, electronic testing systems will typically also record the test data. Often this data is recorded against the assembly serial number for full traceability.
