Atomisers are a special type of closure used to deliver fine droplets of a liquid from a bottle or container either by a pumping action or by utilising stored pressure within the container. Atomizers come in a variety of types and designs depending on the fluid being dispensed and the application. For example, deodorant sprays, nasal sprays, throat sprays, paint spraying, dispensing cleaning products and spraying insect repellents.
Dispensers are typically a bottle of container closure with in-built dispensing nozzles. Dispensers can be used to deliver liquids or powders. For example, dispensers may be a simple nozzle with a clip-on lid, or a flip type dispenser nozzle that folds down to seal, a powder puff type dispenser, a squeeze bottle valve type dispenser, a push down pump for lotions and many more types.
