Powder coating is the process of applying a polymer coating to a metal part. The part is heated and a polymer powder applied by spraying or dipping. The powder coating process applies a visually appealing, high quality, very durable and corrosion resistant finish. On sheet metal components and sheet metal products a variety of finishes and textures can be applied in addition to a large range of colours. Specialised powder coatings can also be applied to withstand corrosive environments or chemical attack.
