Roll forming is the process where flat sheets or continuous flat lengths of sheet metal are fed through a series of rollers to fold the sheet into sections and shapes.
Some typical applications for roll forming are rainwater gutters, flashing, roof sheeting and other construction products, plus tubes and sections which often have the seams automatically welded.
