Powder coating is the process of melting a layer of plastic powder onto the surface of metal parts. The resulting finish is visually appealing, hard wearing and corrosion resistant. Powder coating can be applied in a large variety of colours. The powder coating can be applied using either spraying or dipping techniques. The size of parts that can be powder coated will depend on the size of tank or spray oven the supplier has. Components to be powder coated must be suitable for heating during the powdercoating process.
